What will we remember 100 years from now?

AI Generated Image

As part of the Alice Billings House Time Capsule Project and South Asian Heritage month, explore what heritage means to us and what of it we want to capture and preserve for future generations.

In an interactive workshop, join Artist-in-Residence Ramaa Sharma for a deep, creative exploration into how we understand heritage and how current AI systems are depicting these understandings of ourselves and the places we live.

You’ll have the chance to share your thoughts, spark debate through responding to AI-generated images and explore what you want to remember using visual media such as collage, photography, paint, and text.

The work created will contribute to a time capsule that will be installed in Alice Billings House and opened 100 years from now.

Materials will be provided, but please bring photographs and/or objects that feel important to you and that you wouldn’t mind being photographed for the project.

  • Please note: this session is for participants aged 18+.

    06 August, 18.30- 20.30
