An interactive workshop with Alice Billing House studio holder, Ramaa Sharma, for the Creative Industries Festival
Whose stories are missing from our headlines, datasets, and digital images? In this hands-on creative workshop, artist-in-residence Ramaa Sharma invites students to explore how artificial intelligence reflects and often distorts the world around us.
Drawing from her residency exploring AI bias and representation, Ramaa will guide participants through playful and thought-provoking exercises using AI image tools. You’ll respond to AI-generated visuals, challenge what’s missing or misrepresented, and create your own artistic responses that reflect the richness and complexity of real lives.
This is a space to question how AI sees us and how we want to be seen. Whether you're studying media, art, tech, or design, this session offers a chance to experiment creatively and critically with the tools shaping the future.
Part of the Creative Industries Festival fringe programme.
